Small, considered steps toward a clearer financial picture
Ravel Studio offers structured, one-to-one and small-group programmes that help adults in Malaysia understand their finances more clearly — at a pace that suits their lives.

- Not a market-calling service
- Common misleading phrasings covered
- Entirely educational in scope

EnquireWhy Ravel Studio
A few things that shape how this work is done — and why it may suit you better than a generic finance workshop or an online course.
One facilitator, one focus
You work with a single facilitator throughout each programme. There are no rotating trainers and no pre-recorded content — just a sustained, attentive working relationship.
Paced to your actual life
Programmes are spaced to allow reflection and practice between sessions. The interval is deliberate — not a scheduling convenience but a design feature.
Plain language throughout
No jargon, no financial product recommendations, no abstract models. Everything is explained in clear, readable language you can work with on your own afterward.
Strictly educational
Ravel Studio does not sell financial products and does not receive referral fees. Every session is educational in purpose, which means the facilitator's attention stays entirely with your understanding.
Studio or online, your choice
Sessions for individuals and households are available at the Johor Bahru studio or over a private video call. Small-group programmes are scheduled with the group's convenience in mind.
Written materials you keep
Where the programme produces a written document — as in the Household Finance Story — it is yours to keep and return to. It is not a report about you; it is a document written with you.
Would one of these programmes suit you?
If you are uncertain which programme fits your situation, a short introductory conversation is available at no charge. You can reach the studio by phone or by completing the enquiry form below.
Questions about the programmes
Do I need any prior financial knowledge to attend?
No prior knowledge is assumed. The programmes are designed for adults at various stages of financial familiarity. The facilitator will ask about your starting point in the first session and adjust accordingly.
Are these programmes suitable for couples or households?
The Household Finance Story engagement is designed specifically for households — typically two adults — working through the programme together. The Small Saving Threads programme is primarily one-to-one, though households can discuss this during an introductory call.
Are sessions in English, Bahasa Malaysia, or both?
Sessions are conducted in English. If you would prefer to communicate partly in Bahasa Malaysia during the initial enquiry or a first call, that is welcome. Written materials are produced in English.
What is included in the programme fee?
The fee covers all sessions, any written materials produced during the programme, and brief follow-up by email after the final session if you have questions about what was covered. There are no additional charges.
Can I pay in instalments?
For the Household Finance Story engagement, a two-instalment payment arrangement is available on request. Please mention this when you send your enquiry and the studio will confirm the arrangement.
Does Ravel Studio sell or recommend financial products?
No. The studio is an educational service only. No financial products, investment accounts, or insurance policies are recommended or sold. The facilitator does not receive commissions from any financial institution.
How far in advance should I book?
Current availability varies. Sending an enquiry form is the best first step; the studio aims to respond within two working days with available dates. For small-group programmes, dates are set once a minimum group size is confirmed.
