1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry, enrolling in a programme, or using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms. Participation in a programme confirms acceptance of the Agreement.

Our programmes are designed for adults aged 18 and over. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Malaysian law.

3. Service Description

Ravel Studio provides financial education programmes delivered in English, either in person at the studio in Johor Bahru or online via private video call. The studio operates as an educational service only and does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or any form of regulated financial service.

Programmes are available to individuals and households across Malaysia. Availability is subject to the studio's current capacity.

4. Enrolment and Scheduling

5. Participant Responsibilities

6. Intellectual Property

All programme materials — session frameworks, written documents produced for the participant, reading materials, and any content on this website — remain the intellectual property of Ravel Studio unless otherwise stated.

Where the studio produces a document for a participant (such as in the Household Finance Story engagement), that document is provided to the participant for personal use. The underlying methodology and facilitation framework remain the studio's property.

Participants are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials for their personal educational purposes only.

7. Fees and Payment

Cancellation and refunds

8. Confidentiality

All financial information and personal circumstances shared by participants within sessions are held in confidence by the studio. This obligation applies to all staff and facilitators of Ravel Studio and continues after the conclusion of any programme.

The studio will not disclose participant information to any third party except where required by Malaysian law.

9. Disclaimers

Ravel Studio's programmes are educational in nature. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or any form of regulated financial service under Malaysian law. Participants are responsible for their own financial decisions. The studio makes no representation that participating in a programme will produce any particular financial outcome.

The website and its content are provided for informational purposes only. We do not warrant that the website will be continuously available or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Ravel Studio's total liability to any participant shall not exceed the fee paid for the programme in question. The studio is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from participation in a programme or use of the website.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Malaysian consumer protection law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ravel Studio, its facilitators, and staff from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of programme materials.

12. Termination

Either party may withdraw from the Agreement with written notice. If a participant withdraws, the refund terms in section 7 apply. If the studio withdraws due to a participant's breach of these terms, no refund will be issued for sessions already delivered.

Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 11 of these terms survive termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the parties. If unresolved, disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

For consumer disputes, you may also contact the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia) under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with the "Last updated" date shown above. Continued use of the website or enrolment in a programme after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
